Job Details:

We are a leading Engineering company seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and technologies in the automation and control systems field. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical control systems for our diverse range of clients. This role requires a strong understanding of PLC programming, SCADA systems, and automation processes. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and implement electrical control systems for various applications, ensuring all designs meet relevant standards and client requirements.
• Create and modify PLC and HMI programs using a variety of software, including Allen Bradley.
• Develop SCADA systems to monitor and control industrial processes.
• Use AutoCAD and SolidWorks to produce detailed schematics and designs.
• Create and manage BOMs (Bill of Materials) for all control system components.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineering teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and colleagues as required.
• Continually stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in the field of electrical control engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.
• Proficient in PLC programming and HMI development, particularly with Allen Bradley systems.
• Strong knowledge of control systems design and automation.
• Proficient in using AutoCAD and SolidWorks for schematic design and drafting.
• Experience with SCADA systems and electrical controls.
• Familiarity with control panel design and implementation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive and innovative approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
