We are actively seeking an experienced Electrical Control Engineer to join our dynamic team in the scientific industry. This is a permanent role that offers a fantastic opportunity to apply your technical skills and expertise in a challenging, rewarding, and innovative environment. As an Electrical Control Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex control systems, while ensuring the highest standards of safety and reliability. This role involves a high degree of collaboration with cross-functional teams and requires a strong understanding of PLC programming, electrical engineering, and motion controls.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement complex electrical control systems for scientific applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency.
2. Utilize PLC programming skills to create and modify control systems, primarily using Allen Bradley and Omron systems.
3. Develop and maintain electrical schematics using AutoCAD, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and easily understandable.
4. Work closely with other engineering teams to integrate control systems with other components and systems.
5. Apply knowledge of GUI to create user-friendly interfaces for control systems.
6. Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of control systems to identify and resolve issues.
7. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and stakeholders.
8. Stay updated with the latest developments and trends in control engineering and related technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our systems and processes.
9. Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the scientific industry.
3. Extensive experience with PLC programming, particularly with Allen Bradley and Omron systems.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD for developing and maintaining electrical schematics.
5. Strong knowledge of motion controls and related technologies.
6. Experience with GUI for creating user-friendly interfaces.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex control systems.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
9. Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to control systems.
10. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
