Job Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company's EHS programs and procedures to safeguard our employees and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. The EHS Manager will also be responsible for promoting a culture of safety within the organization and developing programs to train employees in workplace safety practices.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and manage the company's EHS programs and initiatives to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate corrective actions.
3. Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and recommend preventive measures to prevent recurrence.
4. Develop and deliver EHS training programs to educate employees on key safety and environmental issues, practices, and legislation.
5. Coordinate with management to develop and implement environmental policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including ISO 14001.
6. Manage and maintain the Workplace Safety program, including conducting risk assessments, implementing preventive measures, and providing training to employees.
7. Monitor and manage industrial hygiene programs, ensuring a healthy work environment.
8. Implement and oversee accident investigation protocols and procedures.
9. Liaise with regulatory bodies and local authorities on EHS matters.
10. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of all EHS procedures, safety records, and incident reports.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Industrial Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in an EHS role within the manufacturing industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations and ISO 14001 standards.
4. Proven experience with safety management, occupational health, risk assessment, industrial safety, workplace safety, accident investigation, safety training, environmental policy, and industrial hygiene.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to influence and engage others in safety initiatives.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver EHS training programs effectively.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct thorough incident investigations and identify root causes.
8. Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or equivalent certification is preferred.
9. Proficiency in using EHS management software and technology.
10. Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and stakeholders effectively.
