We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent EHS Manager to join our engineering team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and health of our employees, the protection of our environment, and the compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. The EHS Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing our company's Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong dedication to the safety and well-being of our employees and a commitment to environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and manage the company's EHS programs to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
3. Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees at all levels of the organization.
4. Lead incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
5. Manage and implement ISO 14001 standards across the organization.
6. Work closely with operational teams to integrate EHS considerations into daily work activities.
7. Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
8. Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
9. Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to EHS, promoting a culture of safety across the organization.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
3. Proven experience with EHS regulations and ISO 14001 standards.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing safety practices.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and engage employees at all levels.
6. Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or similar certification is preferred.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential safety risks.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management systems.
9. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and commitment to safety.
