Donor Engagement Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to solicitation materials for upcoming campaigns and events
• Cultivate relationships with donors to understand their priorities and decision-making
• Work cross-functionally to maximize giving, including workplace, employee engagement, and pro bono contributions
• Track gifts to ensure they are allocated properly
• Work with the team to identify prospective donors, educate on fundraising, and work on donor visits and solicitations
• Manage and maintain a portfolio of donors, and track communication and relationships
• Create engagement programs to support current and future initiatives
• Attend and support fundraising events

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in PR, Comms, Social Welfare, or related area of study
• 5+ years experience with nonprofit fundraising and direct donor solicitation
• Previous experience with strategic fund development
• 2+ years experience of portfolio moves management and direct solicitation
• Salesforce experience highly desired
• Experience managing a portfolio of donors
• Some local travel and offsite required
