Our organization is seeking a motivated and experienced DOD Contracts Project Manager/Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team in the scientific industry. This position involves managing a variety of DOD contracts, ensuring that all project requirements are met, and overseeing the engineering team. The successful candidate will have a PE Certification in Texas and at least 5 years of experience in environmental compliance, geology, and/or environmental engineering. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of innovation and excellence in the scientific field.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee all aspects of DOD contract projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.

2. Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure that project requirements are met and that all work is conducted in accordance with industry standards.

3. Review and approve project designs, ensuring that they meet all DOD contract requirements.

4. Oversee the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and schedules.

5. Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring that all work is conducted in accordance with contract requirements.

6. Conduct regular project reviews, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.

7. Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and in accordance with DOD contract requirements.

8. Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

9. Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, developments, and changes in DOD contract requirements.

10. Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

1. PE Certification in Texas is required.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in DOD contracts project management or a similar role.

3. Strong knowledge of DOD contract requirements and industry standards.

4. BS Degree in Engineering, Geology, or related environmental science

5. Experience in environmental compliance, geology, and/or environmental engineering

6. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of stakeholders.

8. Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

9. Proficient in the use of project management software and other relevant technology.

10. A strong commitment to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
