Director of Structural Engineering

Qualifications

To be considered for the Director of Structural Engineering position, you must possess the following:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
2. A Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
3. A minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on construction projects.
4. Extensive experience in erosion control, site development, and geotechnical investigations.
5. Proven experience in leading and managing a team of engineers.
6. Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal construction regulations and standards.
7. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
9. Proficient in engineering software and tools.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to find effective solutions to complex engineering challenges.
11. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure the accuracy and quality of engineering plans and designs.
