Our construction company is looking for a skilled and experienced Estimator/Precon Manager to join our team. As an Estimator/Precon Manager, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed cost estimates for various construction projects. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry and must be proficient in using PlanSwift, estimating, take-offs, big box retail and tilt wall projects.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a thorough analysis of project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to determine the scope of work, materials required, and labor costs.
• Prepare and submit accurate and detailed cost estimates for various construction projects, including big box retail, preconstruction, and tilt wall.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.
• Participate in bid meetings and presentations to present cost estimates and answer any questions from clients and stakeholders.
• Continuously update and maintain cost databases and pricing information to ensure accurate and up-to-date cost estimates.
• Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction process to ensure that the project remains within budget.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Comfortable estimating projects from $5M-$20M in value
• Ability to estimate entire full ground-up projects including site work (underground utilities, irrigation landscaping) and tilt wall projects are plus
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry as an estimator.
• Proficient in using PlanSwift, estimating, take-offs, big box retail, preconstruction, and tilt wall.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
