Our organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations. This executive role will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of strategic initiatives, operational plans, and performance metrics. The successful candidate will be a key driver in the optimization of operational efficiency, cost reduction, and profitability. This is a critical leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with a strong grasp of financial management and business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the retail division.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies and objectives to ensure the achievement of the company's goals.
  • Monitor and analyze the efficiency of all operational procedures, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and manage the operations team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
  • Develop, implement, and manage KPI tracking systems to monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee multi-site retail operations, including POS systems, labor analysis, and inventory management.
  • Conduct pricing analytics to ensure competitive pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, and shipping.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role
  • Proven experience in managing multi-site retail operations.
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems, labor analysis, and inventory management.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive and motivate performance through effective coaching, communication, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent understanding of business operations, including financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficient in business process improvement strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on pricing analytics.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organization.
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
