Director of Nursing to oversee 14-16 group homes with adults and geriatrics that have developmental disabilities.


What you will be doing:

• The Director of Nursing ensures the delivery of high-quality healthcare to supported individuals.
• Working both in office, and also going out to the group homes 2-3x per week
• Under the Sr. Vice President of Nursing's supervision, the Director oversees nursing practices and procedures.
• Ensures nursing services meet regulatory requirements and agency policies.
• Directly provides nursing services as needed to meet individual needs.
• Supervises Nursing Managers and Registered Nurses in assigned programs.
• Provides support and coverage to residences/programs as necessary.

Skills you need:

• OPWDD experience required
• Leadership experience as a nurse required
• RN license in NY, or eligibility to obtain, required
