As a Permanent Director of Infrastructure, you will be at the forefront of our technological transformation in the finance industry. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability. This role will provide you with an opportunity to leverage your skills and experience with Microsoft Azure, Meraki, AzureAD, Azure Virtual Desktops, and Nerdio. You will be instrumental in driving our digital evolution, shaping our IT strategy, and delivering innovative solutions to meet our business objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement an IT infrastructure strategy that aligns with our business goals and objectives, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
2. Oversee the design, installation, and management of our IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and other technologies.
3. Lead the migration and management of our systems and services to Microsoft Azure, leveraging your expertise in AzureAD, Azure Virtual Desktops, and Nerdio.
4. Manage and optimize our Meraki network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
5. Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
6. Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and deliver effective solutions.
7. Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in IT infrastructure technologies and solutions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered a plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably in the finance industry.
3. Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, Meraki, AzureAD, Azure Virtual Desktops, and Nerdio.
4. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure design, implementation, and management.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and deliver innovative solutions.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
8. Strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
9. Certifications in Microsoft Azure, Meraki, or other relevant areas will be considered a plus.
10. Ability to stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in IT infrastructure technologies and solutions.
