We are currently seeking a seasoned and dynamic Permanent Director of Human Resources (HR) with a deep understanding of luxury brands and the hospitality/hotel industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies that foster organizational and people effectiveness. The individual will be responsible for managing and ensuring the efficiency of all HR functions, including but not limited to, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and legal compliance. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to make a significant impact on a growing organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that align with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
  • Oversee all aspects of the HR function including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and legal compliance.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the executive team, providing expert guidance on a variety of HR matters, including but not limited to, organizational development, leadership development, change management, and employee engagement.
  • Foster a positive work environment that supports high employee engagement and attracts top talent.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Lead and oversee the performance management process, ensuring it is consistent and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Develop and manage the HR department budget.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to HR systems, policies, and procedures to ensure they meet the needs of the organization and its employees.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach to HR team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 yrs of HR Director level experience required
  • Experience in Luxury hospitality/hotels is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • SPHR or SHRM-CP certification highly preferred.
  • Ability to relocate and work onsite 5 days per week.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business goals.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and drive change at all levels of an organization.
