We are seeking a highly an experienced and strategic-minded Director of Finance to lead our financial operations and contribute to the company's overall success.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives to drive growth and profitability.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide regular financial forecasts and analyses to support decision-making.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and manage working capital to ensure sufficient liquidity for day-to-day operations and initiatives.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Tax and Compliance: Oversee tax planning, compliance, and reporting, working closely with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Investment Analysis: Evaluate potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions, providing financial due diligence and recommendations.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • CPA, CFA, or relevant professional certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in finance leadership roles, with a track record of driving financial performance and growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Industry related experience such as agriculture, fruit, vegetables, or food and beverage.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations, compliance standards, and tax laws.
