Director of Construction / PM - Luxury Homes

Are you an experienced construction professional with a passion for luxury custom homes? Do you have a knack for leadership, strategic planning, and budget management? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Permanent Director of Construction/PM to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of our luxury home construction projects, from initial planning to completion. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing company, while working on some of the most exclusive and high-end residential projects.

Responsibilities:

As our Director of Construction/PM, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing the construction of luxury custom homes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our high standards of quality.
2. Leading, managing, and developing a team of construction professionals.
3. Developing and managing project budgets, including procurement of materials and services.
4. Conducting strategic planning for construction projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
5. Negotiating contracts with vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
6. Communicating effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
7. Ensuring all construction projects comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for our Director of Construction/PM role will have:

1. At least 3 years of experience as a director of construction or similar role, preferably in the luxury custom home sector.
2. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
3. Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
4. Excellent budget management skills, with experience in procurement and contract negotiation.
5. Exceptional strategic planning abilities.
6. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
7. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
