- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, security personnel, and management teams to ensure the smooth operation of production systems and resolve issues pertaining to services and physical infrastructure.
- Conduct routine system maintenance tasks such as auditing logs, software patching/upgrades, data backups, password/certificate rotations, and user account management.
- Apply principles of the software development lifecycle, including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), DevOps, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Deployment (CD).
- Install, manage, and provide support for Windows and Linux servers across both physical and virtual environments to support program objectives.
- Provide assistance for engineering applications such as JAMA, Syndia, Tasktop, Materials Based System Engineering (MBSE), and Software Factory.
- Offer support for VMWare Tanzu environments, including Kubernetes, GitLab, Artifactory, Vault, and Grafana, as well as utilizing Ansible for management.
- Assist with DevSecOps tools maintenance, encompassing Atlassian Tools, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
Required Qualifications:
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field, with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Alternatively, higher-level degrees (e.g., Master’s Degree or Ph.D.) can substitute for experience, and relevant technical experience may substitute for education.
- Must hold or have the ability to obtain a TS/SCI CI Polygraph clearance.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
- Experience in Linux server administration, scripting, and support, particularly with Ansible.
- Familiarity with specialized network environments such as air-gapped or limited-access systems.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and cloud-based technologies like AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with VMWare technologies including vSphere ESXI, vCenter, vRealize Operations Manager, Tanzu, and NSX.
- Understanding of AWS services such as KMS, VPC, LBs, IAM Roles, Firewall, Security Groups, S3, EC2, SQS, SNS, ElastiCache, Workspaces, and RDS.
- Experience with DevSecOps tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Kubernetes, GitLab, and Fortify.
- Familiarity with DoD 8570 compliance standards.
