DevOps Engineer - Remote

We are on the hunt for a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines, implementation of infrastructure as a code, and managing our cloud-based solutions. As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with our software engineers to enable and support a fast-paced, agile release environment, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our systems, our business and most importantly, our customers as we take on challenges that can reshape the engineering industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, maintain, and improve our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support regular feature releases and automated deployments in our development, QA, and production environments.
2. Implement infrastructure as a code for the creation, configuration, and management of cloud resources.
3. Collaborate with software engineers to understand and support the software development lifecycle, tools, and processes.
4. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues across several environments and operating systems.
5. Ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of productions systems.
6. Manage and optimize our cloud presence, including configuration, cost, performance, and cybersecurity aspects.
7. Continually research, test, and implement new technologies, frameworks, and utilities to increase our efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps role.
2. Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
3. Solid experience in implementing infrastructure as a code.
4. Must have cloud experience, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in multiple cloud platforms.
5. Knowledge and experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, with Kubernetes experience being a significant plus.
6. Proficiency in scripting languages, Python experience is a plus.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
9. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is a plus.
