Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and experienced Contract Dev Ops Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in the sales industry. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced environment where you will work on designing, implementing, and maintaining our cutting-edge systems. You will be responsible for managing Kubernetes, Terraform, and other critical systems, ensuring the seamless operation of our sales platform. Your role will be crucial in driving our organization's success by ensuring the efficient and secure operation of our systems. This contract position requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain our Kubernetes environment, ensuring its efficiency, stability, and scalability.
2. Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate and manage our infrastructure.
3. Collaborate with the development team to ensure the smooth deployment of new features and updates.
4. Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies.
5. Provide Level 2 technical support for existing applications and processes.
6. Monitor and test system performance and provide performance statistics and reports.
7. Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
8. Contribute to and maintain system standards.
9. Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
10. Ensure the security and integrity of our systems by developing strategies and implementing policies for data backups and recovery.

Qualifications:

1. 3+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or related field.
2. Expertise in managing Kubernetes and Terraform.
3. Proven experience in implementing and maintaining continuous delivery systems.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
5. Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
6. Strong knowledge of system security measures and data backup/recovery techniques.
7. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems in layman’s terms.
9. Capacity to work independently and take initiative.
10. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
