Design Lead

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Consulting Design Lead to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for creating compelling user experiences and a deep understanding of design methodologies. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our digital products, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning. Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design process across various digital platforms, including mobile and web applications, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience.
2. Develop comprehensive design systems and standards, and ensure their consistent application across all digital products.
3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
4. Translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.
5. Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to optimize and enhance the design.
6. Facilitate design thinking workshops to encourage innovative ideas and solutions.
7. Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
8. Keep abreast of the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies, and integrate them into designs and design standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Design Lead or similar role within the technology industry.
3. Proven experience with dashboard-style design, design thinking, design systems, UI, UX, and B2C.
4. Exceptional design skills, including a strong portfolio that demonstrates your ability to create user-centric design solutions.
5. Proficiency in design software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
6. Experience conducting user research and translating insights into design decisions.
7. Excellent visual design skills with a keen sensitivity to user-system interaction.
8. Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate and justify design decisions.
9. Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively, and to work well in a team.
10. Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
