We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to fill the role of a Permanent Design Build Preconstruction Manager-Commercial. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of our dynamic team, where you will handle commercial preconstruction projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for overseeing the design-build process, managing projects, and ensuring that all preconstruction activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

As a Design Build Preconstruction Manager-Commercial, you will be tasked with:

1. Overseeing and managing all aspects of commercial preconstruction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
2. Conducting site take-offs and preparing detailed estimations for commercial ground-up projects.
3. Utilizing tools such as Procore and Bluebeam or equivalent for project management and design.
4. Leading the design management process, working closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs are feasible, cost-effective, and meet project specifications.
5. Managing the RFP process, coordinating with subcontractors, and conducting take-offs.
6. Overseeing preconstruction planning and estimation for self-storage construction projects.
7. Collaborating with project teams to identify potential issues and develop solutions.
8. Ensuring all preconstruction activities comply with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

1. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial preconstruction, estimation, design-build, and project management.
2. Proven experience with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Suite, Site Take-off a plus.
3. Strong knowledge and experience in site take-offs, RFP process, and commercial ground-up projects.
4. Experience in managing self-storage construction projects is a plus.
5. Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
8. A bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
