Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Demand Planning Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our supply chain operations, aligning demand planning processes and systems with our business goals. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Demand Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for:

1. Developing and maintaining statistical forecast models to predict future sales and revenue.
2. Preparing forecast data, analyzing trends, and making data-driven decisions to optimize supply chain processes.
3. Conducting detailed research on demand drivers to understand their impact on supply and demand.
4. Reviewing sales trends, identifying patterns and anomalies, and providing insightful reports to senior management.
5. Participating in the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, providing key input on stock availability and potential issues.
6. Collaborating closely with various departments, including sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment and accuracy in demand forecasting.
7. Continuously improving forecasting techniques, methods, and approach, and driving process improvements within the demand planning function.
8. Monitoring and adjusting forecasts based on seasonality, market trends, and business strategies.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the finance, healthcare or distribution industry.
2. A Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Professional Forecaster (CPF) certificate.
3. Proven experience in preparing forecast data and developing statistical forecast models.
4. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with forecasting software.
7. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues.
8. A strong understanding of demand planning processes and systems.
9. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
10. A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, supply chain management, or a related field.
