Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or argue their case.
2. Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
3. Conduct research and analysis of legal problems to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
4. Advise clients concerning business transactions, claim liability, advisability of prosecuting or defending lawsuits, or legal rights and obligations.
5. Negotiate settlements of civil disputes in the best interest of the client.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with at least 4 years of experience in litigation, insurance defense, and general liability.
3. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple clients and a diverse caseload.
4. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and concise manner.
5. Strong research and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
