Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Cybersecurity Manager to join our engineering team. This is a permanent position with a leading role in shaping and implementing the company's cybersecurity strategy, architecture, and practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our digital assets and information by protecting system boundaries, keeping computer systems and network devices hardened against attacks, and securing highly sensitive data. This role requires a deep understanding of the complex security challenges that our business faces and the ability to develop strategies to mitigate those risks effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate operational activities for the cybersecurity team, ensuring effective and efficient identification, analysis, and mitigation of potential cybersecurity threats.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
  • Ensure the security of our cloud-based platforms and applications, including the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration.
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure the secure design and development of products and services.
  • Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness and training programs to all employees.
  • Stay current on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies and advise management on risk issues that are related to cybersecurity and propose strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Manage the incident response plan and lead the response to any cybersecurity incidents, ensuring they are promptly addressed and remediated.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity management.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SANS, AZ500, GIAC, or equivalent are required.
  • Proven experience with cybersecurity architecture, design, and application security.
  • Demonstrated experience with penetration testing, container orchestration, CI/CD, and cloud security.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, including the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, an analytical mind, and a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
