Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers on job sites.
• Operate heavy machinery including pile hammers, cranes, and excavators.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety standards.
• Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities.
• Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs.
• Use Heavybid software for project management and cost estimation.
• Train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and ensure specifications are met.
• Provide technical assistance, recommending construction methods and equipment to meet project goals.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to plan and direct work activities.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role in the Engineering or Construction industry.
• Proven experience as an ironworker, carpenter foreman, or construction foreman.
• Proficiency in managing crews and supervising job sites.
• Experience operating heavy machinery such as pile hammers, cranes, and excavators.
• Familiarity with Heavybid software or similar project management software.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus.
