We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, preparing tax returns, and managing all accounting operations. This is a permanent position that requires a professional with a strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets, financial regulations, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements.
2. Ensure all accounting operations align with legal standards and company policies.
3. Prepare tax returns and ensure timely submission.
4. Conduct regular audits and recommend improvements to financial systems and procedures.
5. Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
6. Manage and mentor junior accounting staff.
7. Use financial data and reports to provide strategic advice to management.
8. Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
9. Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
10. Liaise with our financial manager and accounting manager to improve financial procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Must hold a valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in MS Excel and QuickBooks is essential.
4. In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
6. Well-versed in accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.
7. Excellent knowledge of risk analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
8. Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for numbers.
9. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
10. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
11. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
