Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Corporate Accountant to join our corporate accounting team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with up to two years of experience in accounting. The successful candidate will support our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Prepare journal entries, maintain and reconcile ledger accounts.
• Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions.
• Prepare financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position.
• Analyze financial information to ensure all operations are within budget.
• Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company procedures.
• Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns, tax compliance, insurance records, and other required reports.
• Collect and analyze financial data, ensuring that all reporting is in compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines.
• Assist with financial and tax audits.
• Maintain detailed records and support documentation for all financial transactions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 0-2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting theory, current accounting issues, and accounting systems.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., JDE, SAP) is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
