We are currently seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technician with a knack for problem-solving and a strong understanding of electrical systems. This is a permanent, full-time position, working on the night shift. The chosen candidate will be a key player in our manufacturing team, ensuring the smooth operation of our production line and contributing to our commitment to excellence and high-quality production.
Responsibilities:
The Electrical Technician will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:
1. Troubleshooting and maintaining Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
2. Performing regular checks and maintenance on all electrical systems.
3. Responding promptly to any electrical emergencies or breakdowns on the production line.
4. Diagnosing faults in electrical apparatus and circuits.
5. Making necessary adjustments to electrical parts to ensure optimal performance.
6. Working closely with other members of the production team to improve processes and efficiency.
7. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, and ensuring a safe working environment.
8. Keeping accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Electrical Technician position must have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
2. At least 2 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing environment.
3. A thorough understanding of electrical systems and components.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
5. Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic equipment and tools.
6. Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
7. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
8. A commitment to safety and adherence to all workplace safety guidelines and procedures.
9. The ability to work night shifts and be on call for emergencies.
