Salary: $90,000- $120,000

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement control systems to improve production efficiency, quality, and safety.
2. Program and troubleshoot PLCs, primarily Allen Bradley, to optimize machine functionality.
3. Conduct electro-mechanical testing to ensure equipment is functioning correctly and safely.
4. Manage control system networks, ensuring robust and secure data communication.
5. Collaborate with the production team to identify opportunities for system improvements and enhancements.
6. Provide technical support and training to production staff on control systems.
7. Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
8. Work with B&R Industrial Automation systems to optimize production processes.
9. Collaborate with other engineers and professionals on system integration tasks.
10. Maintain documentation of control systems design, specifications, and maintenance procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Controls Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
3. Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs, electro-mechanical testing, control system networks, and systems integration.
4. Demonstrated experience with B&R Industrial Automation.
5. Strong understanding and application of lean manufacturing principles.
6. Exceptional troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex technical issues.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems in a clear and concise manner.
8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
10. Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in control systems technology.
