Job Details:
We are currently seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly skilled Permanent Controls Engineer to join our team. This position will play a critical role in our manufacturing operations, with a focus on designing, developing, and implementing advanced control systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing processes are optimized and efficient, using your expertise in PLC programming, SCADA, and manufacturing engineering. As a key member of our team, your contributions will have a direct impact on the success of our operations and the quality of our products.

Responsibilities:
The Permanent Controls Engineer will be responsible for the following:

1. Designing and developing control systems to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes.

2. Programming PLCs to control the machinery and equipment used in our manufacturing operations.

3. Utilizing SCADA systems to monitor and control our manufacturing processes.

4. Collaborating with other members of the engineering team to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions.

5. Maintaining and updating documentation related to control systems design and implementation.

6. Ensuring that all control systems comply with relevant safety and quality standards.

7. Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in control systems technology and manufacturing engineering, and applying this knowledge to our operations.

8. Providing technical support and training to other members of the team as needed.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Controls Engineer position will have the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.

2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

3. Expertise in control systems design and PLC programming is essential.

4. Experience with SCADA systems is required.

5. Familiarity with Siemens and Allen Bradley control systems would be a significant advantage.

6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

8. A strong commitment to safety and quality.

9. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

10. Willingness to continually learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
