We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of control systems, strategies, and hardware required to control key processes in our operations. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects, from designing new systems to improving existing ones, ensuring that our operations are as efficient, reliable, and safe as possible. Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement control systems to meet production requirements and ensure system reliability.
2. Utilize PLC ladder logic and HMI programming to enhance control systems and improve automation processes.
3. Develop and maintain accurate electrical schematic drawings using AutoCAD Electrical.
4. Assist in designing and implementing automation systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems and hardware.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand process requirements and recommend improvements.
7. Ensure all control systems and processes comply with safety and environmental regulations.
8. Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel on control systems.
9. Continuously update technical knowledge and skills by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, etc.


Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in PLC ladder logic and HMI programming - at least 1 year of FANUC Roboguide experience strongly desired
4. Experience with AutoCAD Electrical is required.
5. Strong knowledge of automation design and controls - at least 1 year of Roboguide experience - Troubleshoot and Program Development required.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when required.
9. Knowledge of relevant safety and environmental regulations.
10. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
11. Willingness to continually update skills and knowledge to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
