Controls Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain control systems for manufacturing processes, ensuring optimum productivity and quality.
• Develop and program automation systems, including PLCs and Fanuc Robots, to improve efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems and production equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand process requirements and develop control strategies accordingly.
• Conduct regular system tests and inspections to ensure optimal operation and safety.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff on control systems.
• Keep abreast of latest advancements in automation technology and implement improvements to existing systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Controls Engineer role within the automotive manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in PLC programming, with specific experience in Fanuc Robots.
• Strong knowledge of automation systems and their application in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and control systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Adept at managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a strong attention to detail.
