We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Controls Automation Engineer to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about automation and robotics. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated manufacturing systems to improve efficiency and productivity. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise in Robotics, PLC, Control Systems, Rockwell PLC, Control Logics, Allen Bradley, SLC 500's, Servio Drives, VFD, and 6 Axis Robotics in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement control systems to automate manufacturing processes.
2. Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs, specifically Rockwell, Allen Bradley, and SLC 500's.
3. Work closely with the production team to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
4. Develop and implement Servio Drives, VFD, and 6 Axis Robotics.
5. Maintain documentation for all automated systems and upgrades.
6. Ensure all automation systems comply with safety and quality standards.
7. Provide technical support and training to other team members.
8. Continually monitor the manufacturing process and make adjustments to the equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of automation projects.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
3. Extensive experience with Robotics, PLC, Control Systems, Rockwell PLC, Control Logics, Allen Bradley, SLC 500's, Servio Drives, VFD, and 6 Axis Robotics.
4. Proven track record of successful automation project implementation.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and safety.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
10. Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest automation technologies and trends.
