We are in search of a dynamic and highly skilled Permanent Controls Engineer to join our innovative team. You will be a part of a team that is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of control systems, contributing to the overall success and growth of our company.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Controls Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Designing, developing, installing, managing, and maintaining equipment used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery, and processes.
2. Ensuring that these control systems, machinery, and processes are operational and functioning in accordance with design specifications.
3. Troubleshooting equipment and system issues and providing timely solutions.
4. Developing and executing projects to improve process control and safety.
5. Programming and configuring PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) with a focus on Allen Bradley and Siemens.
6. Designing and developing HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems.
7. Creating and maintaining SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
8. Developing and maintaining AutoCAD drawings and documentation.
9. Collaborating with cross-functional teams on the implementation of new technologies and system improvements.
10. Ensuring compliance with all safety and security protocols.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Controls Engineering, with a focus on PLC, HMI, SCADA, and AutoCAD.
3. Extensive experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
4. Experience in the automotive industry is a strong advantage.
5. Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD for designing and documenting control systems.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex control systems.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. Demonstrated project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
9. A strong commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
10. A willingness to continually update knowledge and skills in line with technological advancements in the field.
