Job Details

Electrical Controls Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Program machines as assigned by the priority list/project manager.
  • Assist and develop new machinery and make recommendations on their mechanical design to enhance programming ease and electrical component utilization.
  • Perform engineering priority tasks assigned by Engineering leader on-time and within budget.
  • Start-up new R&D machines and develop programs so that future machines can be started without any programming expertise.
  • Serve as a resource for start-up questions from shop personnel.
  • Responsible for cost reductions on existing equipment.
  • Ensure sold machines conform to product and technical specifications.
  • Make recommendations to mechanical engineers about how to enhance machine performance.
  • Ensure machines conform to company engineering standards.
  • Review and approve job-specific manuals – touchscreens/operations.

Electrical Engineer - Controls Experience:
  • Allen Bradley Software: Rslogix 5000, Studio 5000, Factory Talk View Studio.
  • Allen Bradley Hardware: Kinetix 6000, Kinetix 5700, Control Logix, Guard Logix.
  • 2-year associate's degree in an applicable field or 4-year Electrical Engineering Degree, or applicable work experience preferred.
