Controls / BAS Project Engineer

Our expertise lies in being a systems integrator with a focus on Tridium-based control systems. Our specialization lies in offering non-proprietary, open-source solutions that utilize top-notch hardware, ensuring maximum flexibility for our valued customers.

Our customers include many of the largest colleges and universities, regional school districts and hospitals in our markets. We have been exclusively installing non-proprietary Tridium Niagara building automation systems for over 14 years and have the region's largest Niagara installed base with over 150 active customers.

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Controls/BAS Project Engineer to join a leader in Building Integration that’s located in the Pittsburgh area. Remote opportunity available for the right candidate, or hybrid opportunity those who require additional training/experience.

The Project Engineer will be responsible for designing and configuring complete building automation systems, including product selection and the generation of detailed installation drawings that match each customer’s unique requirements.

The Project Engineer will also be responsible for managing communication with the building owner’s design team, 3rd party vendors and management to provide status updates and track procurement and delivery of system components and related materials. When the design aspect of a project is complete, the Project Engineer is responsible for delivering “as built” BAS drawings to the customer and to our internal project management team.

MUST HAVE:

• BS degree in Engineering or other technical degree
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
• Strong computer skills with experience using Word, Excel and AutoCAD
• Familiarity with one or more of the following BAS systems: Scneider Electric Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Honeywell, or other
