Job Title: Controller

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced Controller to join our team.

Position Overview:
As the Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial activities of the organization. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, implementing robust internal controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Generate insightful financial reports for management, offering key insights and recommendations.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial plans.
  • Monitor budget variances and provide timely analysis to support decision-making.
  • Internal Controls:

  • Design and implement effective internal control processes to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Regularly assess the effectiveness of existing controls and propose improvements as necessary.
  • Cash Flow Management:

  • Manage cash flow effectively to meet operational needs and optimize investment opportunities.
  • Implement strategies to enhance liquidity and minimize financial risks.
  • Audit Coordination:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors during the annual audit process.
  • Ensure timely and accurate provision of all necessary documentation and information.

Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and support for decision-making.
  • Work closely with the finance team to mentor and develop staff members.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in financial management software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
