We are looking to hire a Controller, who will be the newest member of our Senior Leadership Team. As the leader of our finance and accounting function, you will be the trusted finance and accounting partner for the business. As we continue to grow, you will be responsible for building out a team, to include Staff Accountants.

Job Details
- Serve as the thought-leader and strategic partner on all finance and accounting matters, driving increases to profitability.
- Oversee all accounting activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies and procedures.
- Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of business results
- Prepare and review the month end financial process, including reconciliation of accounts, managing the AR/AP processes, preparing supporting schedules, accruals, adjusting entries, variance and ratio analysis and financial statement review
- Prepare quarterly budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
- Oversight and stewardship of spending versus budget/forecasts
- Ensure that adequate management controls are in place to protect the company’s assets.
- Understand strategic plans and ensure metrics are in place to track progress against key strategic goals and value creation.
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable and employee expense reimbursements.
- Participate in the annual external audit, tax preparation and be involved with periodic regulatory requests as needed.
- Manage banking, tax, audit, and insurance relationships.
