As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our financial operations in the fast-paced and ever-evolving sector. Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial activities and ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide accurate and timely financial information to management and stakeholders
• Develop and implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and optimize operational efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights for decision-making processes
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely completion of audit deliverables
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas of improvement, and provide recommendations for cost reduction and revenue enhancement
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement in financial operations
• Mentor and develop finance team members, providing guidance and support for their professional growth
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards
• Proven experience in tax compliance and audit processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to meet strict deadlines
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for developing and empowering team members
