The Controller will play a key role in overseeing the financial operations of the company and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. Objectives of this Role:

• Furnish senior management with thorough financial insights through meticulous evaluation, analysis, and reporting.
• Apply company protocols to navigate the current economic landscape and guide financial decisions.
• Establish and uphold financial controls and standards to ensure compliance and optimize performance.
• Attain budgeting milestones through strategic scheduling, analysis, and corrective measures.

Responsibilities:

• Safeguard revenue receipts, expenditures, and team budgets, upholding internal integrity.
• Collaborate with the CFO to set financial benchmarks, budgets, and reporting criteria.
• Implement uniform accounting practices in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Prepare regulatory filings and enforce internal controls for asset protection and procedural integrity.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
• Develop and manage the company's budgeting and forecasting process, including variance analysis and performance tracking.
• Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and optimize liquidity to support the company's operations and growth initiatives.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee all tax-related matters, including preparation of tax returns, compliance with tax laws and regulations, and coordination with external tax advisors.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and coordinate the annual financial audit process.
• Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and development.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the effectiveness of financial operations.
• Undertake special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management, contributing to the achievement of company objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 8+ years of accounting experience, demonstrating proficiency.
• Sound comprehension of banking operations and financial analysis.
• Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance reporting.
• Track record of successful financial project management.
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA highly preferred
• Foundation in public accounting highly preferred.
• Senior level management experience highly preferred.
