The Controller will be responsible for managing our Accounting team and overseeing all day-to-day operations, while also contributing to strategic financial initiatives of the org.
The Controller should have strong hands-on knowledge of month-end closing, financial reporting, and GAAP accounting, as well as budgeting, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.

Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting
- Manage the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Work with Senior Leadership to establish and improve processes for budget/variance analysis, financial forecasting, and strategic finance
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Monitor cash flow and manage working capital to ensure the company's financial stability
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial analysis and support for business decisions
- Manage the company's relationship with external auditors and tax advisors
- Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- MBA or CPA is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound business decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
