!! We are seeking a Controller !!
Qualifications:
- You will manage the budgeting, planning, control, and accurate accounting of company financials and statutory reporting.
- This position will have 5 direct reports
- Manage accounting staff to ensure accurate and effective accounting, financial control, and reporting procedures.
- Ensure the accuracy & integrity of the company's finance statutory records while meeting all financial reporting due dates.
- Responsible for accurate and timely reporting for financial statements, including Income Statements, Statements of Cash Flows, Balance Sheet, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and all local and statutory reporting requirements.
- Oversee the annual audit by the independent accounts of the financial statements, internal controls, and resolution of management letter comments over areas of responsibility.
- Stay updated with US corporate statutory requirements, US Income Tax Laws, General Sales & US Tax Laws, and ensure the company is compliant with these regulations.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role in the finance industry.
- Strong knowledge of US corporate statutory requirements, US Income Tax Laws, General Sales & US Tax Laws.
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced skills in Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
