We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Controller to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the financial management of our company. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial and accounting operations, including forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, financial reporting, cost accounting, and manufacturing finance. This role will require you to work closely with our senior management team and other key stakeholders to ensure our financial strategies align with our company’s goals. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all financial operations of the company, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk.
2. Develop and manage financial forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring accurate and timely results.
3. Conduct ongoing financial analysis, interpreting complex financial data and providing recommendations based on this data.
4. Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and presentation of financial statements and reports in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and principles.
5. Manage and monitor all aspects of cost accounting and manufacturing finance, ensuring accurate cost analysis and profitability.
6. Collaborate with the senior management team to establish financial strategies, objectives, and plans to facilitate growth and meet the company's profitability goals.
7. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering or Manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, financial reporting, cost accounting, and manufacturing finance.
4. Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data, ability to create meaningful financial reports, and ability to handle complex financial concepts and make recommendations based on analysis.
6. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP).
7. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
9. High attention to detail and accuracy.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
