Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and variance analysis.
• Monitor and analyze key financial metrics to identify trends and provide actionable insights to management.
• Supervise the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, adherence to accounting principles, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Review and analyze financial statements, general ledger entries, and reconciliations to maintain strong financial controls.
• Implement and improve procedures (or processes) across software systems to enhance cash flow management.
• Prepare and present financial reporting and potential risk areas to senior management.
• Oversee both internal and external payroll and tax accounting records and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years experience (construction related preferable, not required)
• CPA or CA Certification
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency with Quickbooks
• Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis
• Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting
