CFO

We are currently seeking a highly driven, detail-oriented Permanent CFO to join our clients dynamic team. This position is an integral part of our finance team and will have a broad range of responsibilities including financial management, budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, accounting, AP-GL accounts, financial planning, and business planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company's financial operations. This role requires 3+ years of experience and offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's growth and success.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all financial operations of the company including budgets, financial reporting, and forecasting.
2. Develop and implement financial strategies and systems that align with the company's overall goals.
3. Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organizational financial documents.
4. Collaborate with management on the development and execution of funding strategies.
5. Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles.
6. Work with external auditors and manage internal controls.
7. Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard the financial assets of the organization.
8. Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies.
9. Monitor banking activities and ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs.
10. Perform financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions.
11. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or CPA would be a plus.
2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proficient in Financial Management, Budgeting, Financial Reporting, Forecasting, Accounting, AP-GL accounts, Financial Planning, and Business Planning.
4. Strong understanding of economic and banking processes.
5. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
6. Working knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.
7. Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
8. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
11. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial reporting software.
