We are a small hospital in a tight knight organization seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Controller to join our dynamic team in the Finance industry. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial management and a proven track record in the healthcare industry. Proficiency with TruBridge Software, Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Internal Controls is preferred. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

A strong full charge bookkeeper, Senior Accountant, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, etc. could be great for this role. This is 100% onsite, but is a TRUE 40 hour work week with flexible hours as needed.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
  • Coordinate, analyze, and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors (financial performance, projections and other special projects as required).
  • Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.
  • Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firms performance.
  • Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting, employee relations (hiring/terminating policies) and other corporate policies.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and manipulating huge volume data.
  • Manage the deployment and maintenance of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Ensure compliance with the financial procedures of the organization.
  • Works with the Management team in comprehensive budgeting and forecasting processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. CPA, CMA, or other related certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with TruBridge Software.
  • Strong experience in Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Internal Controls.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous projects and priorities at once.
  • Positive and energetic attitude with the ability to adapt to change quickly.
  • Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy, product quality and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Proven experience in financial project management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently.
