Job Details:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly driven Permanent Controller to join our team in the Oil & Gas industry. This role plays a pivotal part in our organization, overseeing all financial aspects of the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable and receivable, compliance, and financial analysis. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
2. Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with CEO, COO and the leadership team.
3. Study, analyze and report on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth.
4. Oversee the investment of funds and manage associated risks, supervise cash management activities, execute capital-raising strategies to support a firm's expansion.
5. Monitor and manage all accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and adherence to company policies.
6. Develop and maintain a system of strong internal controls to protect company assets.
7. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports.
8. Conduct financial analysis, prepare detailed reports and presentations, and make recommendations to leadership based on financial findings.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable and receivable, compliance, and financial analysis.
4. Strong knowledge of data analysis, risk management, and forecasting methods.
5. Exceptional leadership abilities with a commitment to guide a team towards financial success.
6. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced knowledge of accounting software.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth and tight-deadline environment.
