Controller

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Controller to join our dynamic finance team. This role will be integral to the financial health of our organization, driving key financial processes, including financial reporting, financial analysis, cost accounting, budgeting, and GAAP financials. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of loan vision and its application in the Mortgage Industry. Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all financial operations of the company, including the development and management of budgets, preparation of financial statements, and reporting to company executives and the board of directors.

2. Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide insight into the company's operations and business plans.

3. Implement and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

4. Develop and manage the company's annual budget, including forecasting, variance analysis, and performance tracking.

5. Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.

6. Manage the use of loan vision in the organization, ensuring accurate and timely loan processing and reporting.

7. Collaborate with other department heads to strategize ways to minimize financial risk.

8. Coordinate audit processes and liaise with external auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.

2. Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the finance industry.

3. Proficiency in financial reporting, financial analysis, cost accounting, budgeting, and GAAP financials.

4. Experience with loan vision or a similar financial management software.

5. Strong understanding of business principles and practices; superior attention to detail; organizational and analytical skills; and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

6. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present financial information and complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.

7. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
