Job Details:
Our company is seeking a Controller to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial operations, including but not limited to, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and project management. The Permanent Controller will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our company, making this role perfect for someone who is ambitious, goal-oriented, and ready to make a significant impact in the industry.

Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all financial operations of the company, ensuring all activities are in line with financial laws, regulations, and company policies.
2. Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to support the company's growth and profitability goals.
3. Prepare and present detailed monthly financial reports to senior management, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
4. Lead and manage the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance.
5. Coordinate with various departments to develop financial models for new projects, assessing profitability and risk.
6. Manage the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
7. Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
8. Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks.
9. Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments.
10. Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA or CPA certification is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Controller role, preferably in the Engineering industry.
3. Solid experience in Commercial Real Estate and Financial Accounting.
4. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
5. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop financial models, interpret data, and provide financial analysis.
7. Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
8. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present financial information and complex financial concepts to non-financial managers.
9. Strong IT skills, with proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced skills in Excel.
10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
