Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Permanent Controller to join our thriving technology company. This is a unique opportunity to become an integral part of our finance team, providing leadership, direction, and oversight for all financial aspects of the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the technology industry, preferably with a Big 4 background. The role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in similar roles. The successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, preparing financial statements, and ERP implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
• Direct financial strategy, planning, and forecasts; conferring with President, COO, and CFO concerning strategic planning.
• Study, analyze and report on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth.
• Develop, implement, and manage the company's financial plans and budgets.
• Implement and manage ERP systems to streamline financial data and processes.
• Supervise the preparation of the company's financial reports; report financial status by developing forecasts, reporting results, analyzing variances and developing improvements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions.
• Protect the company’s value by keeping information confidential and fully secure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the technology industry.
• Big 4 background is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement preparation.
• Demonstrated experience with ERP implementation and management.
• Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and execution skills.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Strong knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
