As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This is a key leadership role that requires strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to provide strategic financial guidance.
Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting
• Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts - Conduct account analysis to identify variances and recommend corrective actions
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits - Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in accounting

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
• CPA certification strongly preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or other accounting software
• Proficient in technical accounting principles and practices
• Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
