Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing all company accounts and investments.
2. Creating monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.
3. Managing cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports.
4. Supervising and managing financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants.
5. Motivating and leading finance team members by clarifying roles and providing helpful feedback.
6. Suggesting updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing.
7. Ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
8. Establishing and implementing financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation.
9. Collaborating with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
10. Developing budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports.
11. Reviewing all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.
12. Examining all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies.
13. Creating systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations.

Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting role.
3. Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.
4. In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices.
5. Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
6. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).
7. An analytical mind with a strategic ability.
8. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
9. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
10. Experience in managing monthly cash flow, journal entries, and audit.
11. A proven track record of managing financial operations within the entertainment industry would be a distinct advantage.
12. Must be Bilingual Spanish
